As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sambreel, Arie Trouw brings deep technology, digital media and software development experience, and has been responsible for the development of the Company’s underlying technology and its strategic direction since inception. Arie has led development teams at several companies including Verizon and eHelp. Prior to founding Sambreel, he was involved in a leadership role at multiple start-ups including Hekko Education, a designer of educational software for kids; and Tight Line Technologies, a developer of network software for game theory. Arie received a BS in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.

Brad Miller joined Sambreel in June 2010 and currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer. He has ten years of finance and strategy consulting experience previously serving as Vice President of Ranch Capital, a private equity firm based in San Diego, where he committed over one billion in capital, including multiple transactions with Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway. Prior to joining Ranch Capital, Brad spent 4 years in software start-ups, including as co-founder of Upper Hand Entertainment. Brad received a BS in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Kai Hankinson joined Sambreel in January 2009 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Sambreel, Kai spent seven years managing two technology start-ups that he helped found, including Upper Hand Entertainment, a software development firm specializing in online gaming and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to Upper Hand, Kai spent five years on Wall Street trading equity derivatives for Merrill Lynch. Kai began his career doing Engineering for the Pentagon where he was granted the United States Government's highest level of security clearance. Kai received a BS in Operations Research & Information Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

John Arana joined Sambreel in August 2009 as the Lead Application Developer, now serving as the Company’s Chief Technology Officer. John is an autodidact with 10 years of experience in software development and specializes in ActionScript. He previously developed enterprise applications for TechnoCom Wireless, educational software for Hekko Education, and high-end websites for Progressive Website Design.

Aaron Mendes has over 10 years of experience growing technology start-ups from idea to profitability. Prior to Sambreel, he was co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer for Wellness.com, a profitable top 10 global health website with nearly 5 million unique visitors per month. Aaron co-founded Wellness.com while working as Vice President of Marketing for Earnware Corporation, the software and incubation company that owned the Wellness.com domain. While at Earnware, he launched dozens of start-ups for the company and its clients. Prior to Earnware, Aaron held a marketing management position with MentorVest Partners, a venture capital firm based in Sydney, Australia. Aaron graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Business Management from Syracuse University with a specialization in Entrepreneurship.

Shawn Bridgeman joined Sambreel in April 2010 and currently serves as the President of Sambreel Services. Shawn has a proven track record of developing strategic goals, building smart organizations, and scaling businesses. Prior to joining Sambreel, she managed patent portfolios for start-up clients and consulted with small businesses on marketing strategy. Shawn received a BA in Sociology from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Boston University, and honed her skills in analytics at Accenture’s Institute for High Performance Business.
